Brainchild of @knott.jamie & @billkills777

Scope Of Work:

  • Visual Identity

  • Brand Identity Consulting

  • Menu & Apparel Design

We believe every neighborhood has a story to tell through the tastes and experiences it offers.

Our latest venture with Kinjo – a Japanese and Korean-inspired neighborhood spot in Downtown Newark, NJ – is about creating a narrative that weaves seamlessly into the cultural tapestry of the community.

The Goal:

To position Kinjo as a trailblazer in Newark Urby's fusion food scene

why

Kinjo, which means 'neighborhood' in Japanese, aims to be more than a dining destination; it's where culture, community, and cuisine collide.

Our role was to craft a visual and brand identity that's as unique and inviting as the eclectic flavors Kinjo brings to the table. Oishi, our delightful mascot, embodies the essence of 'delicious' and becomes the face of a brand that’s as flavorful as the fare served. From the logo to the lanterns, and the menu to the marketing, every element is designed to resonate with Kinjo's vision of being an integral part of the neighborhood fabric.

With Kinjo, it's not just about eating; it's about experiencing a slice of the neighborhood life. Every dish is a conversation, every cocktail a new connection, and every visit is a step deeper into the heart of Newark. Welcome to Kinjo – where every bite feels like home.
